Structural & construction notes

Surveyors use total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and sometimes laser scanning, tied to a fixed benchmark. The survey is the base for the site plan, setbacks, drainage, and foundation levels. Requirements and who may sign it vary by jurisdiction.
